Why do you need card verification?

The stage of bank card verification is an important step on the way to making an exchange. It is a guarantee of protection against fraudulent activities by third parties and confirmation that the client has access to a valid bank card.

Card verification is a precautionary measure that any service should approach responsibly, because knowing the card number and the code on the reverse side, fraudsters can use this data and make transfers.

 

In order to pass verification, there are several options:

1. Upload a photo of a bank card against the background of the created application on our website. The following card details should be clearly visible on the photo: the entire card number (16 digits) and the full name of the cardholder (if the card is registered). The rest of the information can be closed. The photo on the back of the card is not required. If your card is virtual, you can use an alternative verification method: "Identity Verification", specified in paragraph 3.
2. Upload a photo of a bank card, holding it in your hand, against the background of a sheet of paper with the inscription "I make a currency exchange on the site prostocash.com. Application # (current application number)".
3. Complete identity verification on our website. To pass verification, you will need an identity document.

If the details do not match or if any verification conditions are not met, the verification request will be rejected. You will be able to take a new photo, taking into account the reason for the refusal.

 

Identity verification

Identity verification plays a key role in ensuring security and trust. It helps to prevent fraud, protects against illegal activities and enhances the possibilities when using the service.

To pass verification, you will need an identity document and a piece of paper on which you must indicate the name of our site and the current date at the time of download. If all these requirements are met, the process will take no more than 10 minutes.

 

The process consists of 3 simple steps for uploading the required photos, which will be described in detail at the beginning of the procedure:

1. You need to register on our website or log in to an existing account.
2. By clicking on your email in the upper right corner, you will be taken to your personal account.
3. Go to the "Verification" tab, read the terms and conditions and upload the necessary photo in JPEG or PNG format.
